All
hunts include lodging. Meals can be arranged, if desired. Hunts are
fully guided from warm, box blinds. Expect to see 10-12 mature bucks
a day. We have a walk-in cooler to store your game after the hunt
and can arrange for processing, if needed.

Star
Mountain Ranch is located in Hamilton County, near the small town of
Evant, Texas. Our ranch specializes in trophy Whitetail deer
hunting. The ranch has been game fenced for 15 years and varies from
small open food plots and thick hardwood draws to the name sake of
the ranch, Star Mountain, one of the highest elevations in our area.
While hunting with us, you will be guided by me, Rodney Parrish,
personally. I do everything needed to make sure this is one hunt you
will never forget.
Our
Whitetail bucks hunts are available on a limited basis to ensure
proper culling and to let the genetics of the better deer prevail in
our herd. We take 10-12 Management bucks each year and from 2-4
Trophy bucks and 20-30 doe as well. If you are interested in hunting
on a family operated ranch that has a long list of returning
hunters, this is the hunt for you.
Hunters who are looking for a good hunt for a Youth hunter should
consider bringing them along. We allow our hunters to bring
youngsters on the hunt at no extra cost. Youth hunters can take a
doe at a very reasonable fee and will see lots of deer, making the
hunt that much more enjoyable.
